German Green Forum gets results

Die Gruene Stadt, the German Green Forum set-up to promote the Green City iniative in Germany, is proving how landscape can have more of a voice by working together.

In the last twelve months the group have briefed personally Federal President Horst Köhler and worked with the Deutsche Bank in a national tree planting activity. It is also working closely with Duesseldorf City Council to promote best practice use of green space and plants by businesses.

Die Gruene Stadt incorporates most of the bodies operating in agriculture/horticulture. Links with media partners ensure that up-to-date information is available to the industry and beyond.

Peter Menke, speaking for the German Green Forum says 'working with our media partner Haymarket enables the Green Forum to collate related information in a monthly page dedicated to plants and landscape - green benefits. This means that it gets seen by everyone in the industry. This and other press activities take it to the wider world'.
